How to Stop Chat Spam, but Still see proper messages and people coming online!

Its simple really...

If you dont want to have ur status as busy for ages and miss all your friends coming online, and proper messages, open the xbox guide menu (mini dashboard) by opening it as one comes up, then pressing xbox button to make it go away, and pressing it again before another one comes up. Then go to the right hand side, Preferences, Set your online status to busy and wait for the current alert to dissapear, then wait 5-10 seconds and change it back to online and all the chat invites alerts will have stopped and youll be able to see friends coming online and proper messages being sent to you.
